Not a bad idea to true any new ski. That said, I've never had an issue with any of my ON3Ps over the years. I usually just do some extra detuning from the last inch or two of contact to the tips.

Weird, neither I or any of my touring partners with Lupos have experienced that over the past 3 seasons.

I use the Lupo 130s with a powerwrap for inbounds. Works really well for me, I'm only 160lbs but pretty/very agressive inbounds.

Any reports on how the Tour construction skis compared to full bamboo? How much power and punch do you give up in variable?

The Kootenays so pretty steep, deep, and treed. I like my skis on the longer side so I wouldn't downsize personally, they're not a demanding ski in the slightest.

I use lupo TI Carbons for inbounds and touring but on full inbounds days I swap the flimsy, easy walking liner for powerwraps.
