Apparently even Crystal management has realized that the size of the new base lodge is undersized. Therefore the tent has been slightly relocated uphill. It feels good to spend $1900 on a season...

Crystal management is talking about adding/upgrading lifts and improving parking lot shuttles. I don't know how much of this will actually happen, but it is at least a step in the right direction.

Alpental has better food than Crystal, which is not saying much. Their pizza is way better.

The Crystal webpage say 39 inches of snow. No mention of an opening date yet.

Season passes at Crystal were very expensive in the far distant past. If we adjust those prices for inflation, the current pass price is likely similar.

Hopefully the reopening of the border will draw people back to Whistler. Crystal amenities can't even come close to Whistler and Crystal really isn't cheaper.
