Sunday at Marmot was interesting... The drifts looked amazing after 6 cm of fresh and a little wind. Hard as sandstone. Sometimes you would break through but it was challenging skiing.201282

Not for a bit. 3rd or 10th depending on snow. Bringing a friend who doesn't "love" Sunshine but loves skiing in the Alpine. The Dive saved that hill for me so I'm pumped to show him around.

Knob was amazing yesterday! Only people who ski in Jasper Banff area understand that 6 cm with the right wind turns into a very tasty pow day. So fun.

So used to the name Knob...re-read my post and indeed, slang for wiener is really a funny name for a lift!

Bottom of Marmot is going to be a skating rink as the snow was see through and liquid. Sounds like only affecting the bottom half of the lower. That might seal the deal that a big chunk of the double...

Marmot skied awesome today as well. Light dry snow that bonded well to the base. Amazing turns all day today. Happy Jasper skiers allround.

Great little mountain. Marmot skis the best after mid January. Last year was very dry in the spring and highly unlikely to happen again. (hopefully). Mid feb to the start of April is the best time...
