I gave up on my Spectres after 1.5 seasons - say 40 days. No wear problems and they tour/walk great. However they really are not stiff and I found this annoying when I needed it! Switched to Mtn Labs...

I have after a year of experimenting given up on the Vipec's and gone back to Dynafit. Last year getting in and out was a nightmare and occasionally the heel would release leading to telemark skiing....

So far had a week of skiing and touring on these and no problem. I am in Europe so used Telemark P who were easily the cheapest but i have used them before and their techfolk seem to set things up...

I have skied Scott Crus'airs 179cm all last season with Dynafits. These were light-ish on the up but very robust skis in all conditions. I would happily take them anywhere.
