Oh definitely agree with you there, I havent tried the mach1 yet but for my style I don't think I would need a true stiff alpine boot.

Same, my 120s with booster straps and zipfits are plenty stiff for me.

I've cut out the foam from my intuitions and just slapped some gorilla tape on it. Its still holding on since last season

I gave up looking for a ski like this and switched to tele. Most fun I've had on firm ski period. Doesn't matter what ski as long as you can bend the knee

I've got the cochise with some zipfit garas and a booster strap. It skis pretty close to an actual alpine boot.

I've seen people put duct tape on the front of the boots for insulation or something. Not sure how well that works
