Well lift tickets are one of the smallest portions of how big ski areas make money, it's largely food/bev. People sure as heck like to buy beers when it's sunny and warm out.

Buddy on breck patrol said they were told they're budgeted for May 12th this season.

Big sky skins are not great, but for $60 they're probably fine. Heavy skins with crappy glide in my experience.

Got to farmers korner from Breck when I heard the basin was closed, so Breck it was. It skied well though, not crazy deep and six senses/south col was variable. Peak 7 was grand when it opened though.

Not often do you see it closed from Morrison to silvy but then Loveland pass is open

Breck was absolutely awesome yesterday. Cold smoke right side up skiing. openings on peak 6 and 7 were just incredible.

Something about your bedding in process, installation, etc is off for sure.

It is hard to not get the biking itch when it's been 45 degrees/sunny in town the last couple days... but I'll wait a little longer.. or at least until we go to the desert for a friends birthday in...
