Was at Engelberg yesterday. Really deep, but heavy-ish snow. Most stuff that was steep enough to ski fast was too dangerous, and most stuff that was safe to ski was too flat. Once the snow started...

Had a good time in Engelberg yesterday. Really good conditions and high quality snow. Visibility was challenging, but manageable if you timed it right, till it went blue sky around 11am. Finished up...

Airolo had good snow down to midtram. A little thick but still really fun (and I'm coming from Colorado so used to rediculous fluff).

Is that because high elevation so you can get above freezing levels and have good coverage? Still learning how to ski out here in central CH. Had my system dialed back in Colorado.

Anyone else skiing yet in Switzerland? We moved from the US to Zurich over the summer and I'm looking to meet some people to ski with! All this rain must mean snow somewhere, surely!

Did some touring out of Monterosa today. North facing was pretty nice boot-top pow, albeit pretty heavy. With the clouds/fog rolling in, tomorrow will probably be mostly hike-to off-piste.

In the Monte Rosa area right now, very light snowfall - nothing to write home about just yet, at least down lower. Interested in seeing what Wed. brings. Looks like snow is forecasted all week long?...
