40' Whaler with 4 300 Mercs. I've seen it in Friday Harbor but never had a chance to see it up close, it's nice.
Yellowjackets are really bad this year, I can hear the woods behind my house buzzing with them. They say any year with a good Humpy (pink salmon) run will be a bad year for yellowjackets, It's...
New pump out boat, it was bought by the port last year and never used, they repowered it this year with new electric outboards at the builder and launched for the first time yesterday . I guess the...

Never forget to check by your your drain plug when you launch your boat.
A mixture of acetone and a little ATF makes a much better penatrating oil, learned this years ago and haven't used any canned penatrating oil since.
Scotty downrigger plugs made by Marinco work great for things that draw less than 30 amps, they're a little bigger than a cigarette lighter plug.

I think we had 18 or 20 in the truck and a raft stack 5 high (along with a couple IK's) on this shuttle, State Patrol passed us with lights and sirens and the look on his face was priceless as he...
Yes I am. That's the IMC dock in Fisherman Bay, I'm guessing you got married at the Islander next door?

If the clouds go away there's a nice view of Baker.
I've reeled in too many tuna like that.
I'm surprised The Mothers album Fillmore East Hasn't been mentioned yet, it's kind of a concept album (like Joes Garage) telling the story of a rock band and a couple groupies.

I'd look for something in the 21' range if your going to have 5 full size people on it, Boats always seem to feel a lot smaller when there's more than 3 or 4 people on it with a trap or two. A simple...
Hastings filters have a nut on the back like K&N filters, I've always thought they were made by Hastings, I could be wrong though.
My go to for stuck filters is a big pair of Channel Locks but...
Looks nice, is that an older Sisu (I think they're named Eastporters now)? I had a 22' Bass boat before the 24' Grady they made great fishing boats, lots of deck space.
When I was in elementary school he came to our school and did a show for the student, about the only thing I remembered about it was that he brought his daughter Shari with him who was about our age...

I prefer straight shaft inboards but everyone wants to go fast these days and inboards just have way too much drag, plus you gain a ton of room getting the engine out of the bilge. A big problem...

I'm on Lopez. There's been fires all Summer, every time the wind is from the west we get smoke, it makes for great sunsets but the cars get covered in ash.
We've had .2" of rain in over 100 days (less on the south end of the island), the driest stretch since they've been keeping records on this island.
Now that they're getting bigger, there's some weight behind the two of them when they crash into things, they can make quite a racket at 4am.
We adopted these two a few weeks ago, here they are in one of the rare moments they're not chasing each other from one of the house to the other or rolling around on the floor.
