Feck………….. Want……….
Glad they’re getting the love!!! They are damned fun! My Jeffrey 118’s are just the replacement I was hoping for…
No… it’s just not the right tool for dust on boilerplate snow. Anything soft and 3+ inches deep and they’re glorious. They’re just a lot to manage on icy boilerplate, scraped-off groomers. The...
It is money. In the right snow…
Yes, yes they sure are. There’s just something about them…
The 191’s are plenty playful & nimble in the right snow. I wouldn’t agonize over it too much.
Pretty much. The shape just works.
These will become your new favorite skis and you’ll take them out more often than you think
Got out on the Jeffrey 118’s today for a few laps. Man, these are so much fun in anything soft. Steamroll chop, check. Nimble thru the trees, check. Fun off the rollers in the park, check.

Holy lines, Batman… It’s Weds not Sat, sheesh.

Snow was good in places at Meadows today. 3 & 4 bowls skied great. Lots of soft-ish snow there. Trees were good all over the frontside. Snow was decidedly all over tho… great up top where it wasn’t...
Jeffrey 108’s FTW today. Snow was a bit all over the place, but there was good stuff to be found all over the mountain. Glad I opted for these and not my Jeffrey 118’s or Cease&Desist’s today. Not...
Given that the asym Cease&Desists are effectively a fat Billy Goat, they also steamroll anything in the way. Mine were built in 2018 and have the “old” tour core, which is all bamboo.
Agreed and seconded.
Meadows skied gloriously today.

Today, I’m afraid I had to Cease & Desist. It was glorious. These skis on soft, cut up snow enable ridiculous speeds and huge grins.

Today was an all-timer for sure! I missed the Star drop, had to head to the car for a work-call. Going back tomorrow morning for more. Waterfall skied amazingly today
I can echo this sentiment. Got out on mine today in proper conditions, 16+ inches of fresh. Effortless. Stompy. Fun. They’re like springboards. Bounce-turn. Faceshot. Bounce-turn. Faceshot. Had a...
Spiral out. Keep going…
Yes, they are softer than stock. I like the round flex profile better for my style of skiing. My Cease & Desists and Jeffrey 108’s are the same setup. My Billy Goat 108 Tours are stock though. I’m 6’...
Usually I’d agree but I was actually at Meadows over on the HRM side most of the day. Took a lap down Star, crashed popping the cornice just downhill from the top of the chair. Rang my bell good…
It was likely more down to my relative lack of conditioning, but they were heavy and sluggish and the tails were especially noticeable. Like I said tho, wrong skis for the day. There was, at best,...
Used ship skis to send my sons snowboard + gear from OR to IL. Price was about $90. Was fully tracked/insured and made it without issue door-to-door. Sent ground so it took about a week.
Meadows skied nice today. Practically felt like I had the place to myself. Snow was ok, but that hard base is for real. The day definitely called for a narrower ski than I brought tho…
Rode my Jeffrey 118’s in a little bit of fresh over a VERY hard base. The upper mountain had better snow, and in the stashes of fresh I found, they were everything I’d hoped and more. They have the...
Peak to Creek?
Oh no! Hope you’re going to be alright!
Well, tried again. Went to Meadows, got to HRM lot and HRX went on Maintenance Hold. Main lot was full and they’re bussing people from HRM to Main. MHX and Buttercup are all that’s turning. Jeebus...
Yeah, Meadows. I’m impressed you stayed… I’m thinking Ski Bowl this afternoon
Spent a few minutes on my Jeffrey 118’s today. Waited for the chairlift to open but gave up after 1.5 hours of waiting. So, rode them thru the parking lot back to the car. The suspension feeling of...
Well, we tried… went up to Meadows and got there right around 12:00p. Waited for MHX for about 45-mins. Gave up and went inside for lunch. Finished lunch around 1:30p and MHX still wasn’t loading....
Just sent my son’s snowboard bag w/ snowboard, boots, helmet, goggles (x 3pair), gloves and jacket/pants. Was 34lbs. Paid $99 to ship OR to IL. FedEx picked up this morning. Supposed to arrive...
Not me, I was too slow as well
Not your fault, would have made the same choice in that situation.
This made me laugh harder than it should have… All these years later and it’s STILL funny…
Planning to use it this week to ship my son’s snowboard/gear from OR to IL. Will report back.
Took my wife’s 174’s for a ride on a crusty day and holy balls are they fun. Didn’t even feel short, which was odd. Laying train tracks with them is soooo much fun.
Agreed. I grew up skiing Wilmot, Alpine Valley, Ironhead, Crystal and Ski Brule in the U.P. They turn chairs when there’s 1-inch of clear ice over the grass. The fun is there, you just have to look...
I just run my Jeff 108’s and say f**k it. But I’m on Mt Hood, so garbage snow is relative… it’s not Midwest ice after all.
yes
I’ve been rocking a set of Zeal Portal’s since 2019. The foam has held up and the extra lenses can be found cheap online.

Ha!!! This made me laugh harder than it should have…
I know I can’t wait to get mine on snow next year! Didn’t get a chance to try them out yet and I’m so curious how they compare to my old Caylor’s (now in Tuco’s hands).
Crap… how long will the pre-order window be open? I think I might need these in my life.
I’m curious for more info too. Though, I will post my own Caylor - Jeffrey 118 comparison next season when I have a chance to get on my J118’s. I’m hopeful the tip/tail taper helps them cut through...
Fellow old-guy here that only skis ON3P. I have refined my quiver to Jeffrey or BG shapes. Have Jeffrey 108’s for DD work, Jeffrey 118’s for soft snow fun (my Caylor’s went to Tuco). I also have...
Unfortunately, no… will report 1st thing next season tho!
When I was actively patrolling the rule of thumb was: injury below the waist = skier and injury above the waist = snowboarder. Sure there were exceptions like the skier the dislocated his shoulder...
