The 182 should be just fine. Esp if you liked the 184 over the new 187 as the 187 is a more demanding ski than the 184bg. God that new 187 is sweet.

5’10” 190lbs. Own both 188 stock flex and custom 192 veneer 4flex. I prefer the 192 4 flex as this shape doesn’t need to flex to float due to the widest part of the ski is at the toe of the binding....

I did the stiff flex, 4/5 heavy core on my Lhasa, Keith talked me out of carbon for my build since I wanted a fall line missile. He did say a flex 3/4 enduro carbon would be a good match tho.

After owning both and skiing both a ton, the tail rocker made that ski a much better ride. IMO. Gets loose easier and gives up zero carving ability that it had before.

That was my pair. Enduro veneer 4 flex. Yes it adds to the cost for veneer. They ski amazing inbounds.

Sick dude! My 4 flex 192 ProTest absolutely killed it today as well. The extra stiffness over my stock 188’s is money. So effortless in pow and they mob chop sooo much better.

May not be a bad idea if you can find a four flex. I think the three flex will be a tad to soft for you.
