Nice... what would you guess climb times would be for Notch or Holy Cross? I've seen everything from 5 to 11 hours for the Cross. Would be fun to grab a 14er while we are out there for sure. ...

Have those skis (albeit in a longer flavor)... Used them as my everyday ski on the east coast this season after scoring them and couldnt be happier. Bump for a ski that rides on rails.

Always been my experience that access to Hunter is a lot tougher than Windham / Bell.

My deepest fear? Seeing one of these cruising the streets with a clown driving and "Free Ice Cream" stenciled hap-hazardly on the side. I mean, whats scarier?

I've been really happy with my Salomon Patrol helmet....faux fur / leather ear covers, brim, and plenty of vents. Relatively cheap as well.

Used to have a Giro Raven SC, that thing was just too...

Ill throw it out there.... had a Sequoia in the family more than once and it treated me famously.... plenty of room for gear.

aghh, thanks Gman.... I look at my apartment and realize I dont hang pictures well so drilling into skis probably shouldnt be done without adult supervision.

Anyone in the NYC area reasonably competent at mounting sticks? Id rather avoid Paragon like the plague due to time constraints and pricing and would be more than happy to come to you bearing gifts...

I am rocking the non ID liner and while it aint great, I wouldnt turn up my nose at $250 for newish kryptons simply because they didnt have intuitions in them. Just saying.
