I use water resistant wood glue if its a new mount, whatever slowset 2 part epoxy is laying around for a remount or if I'm worried about hole integrity for some reason.

Yeah, I use the oem 'yota filters, they come with a new one too.

That's what I've always done. Have reused pivot holes at least 4 times and have only had 1 or 2 spinners, which I've successfully fixed with chopped up steel wool and epoxy.

+1. If you are careful, the fiberglass may not be needed but I'd at least have some on hand.

The indicator on fks's is fairly useless. You are likely within range still but do a search for how to adjust pivot fwd pressure on here or google to check.

As long as the screws torqued down and didn't spin I wouldn't worry about it. I usually use marine epoxy for remounts but it is probably overkill.
