Sam rode the Gondy for the first time on Monday. He clearly thought it would calm my nerves if he sat on lap and I cuddled him all the way.

While nominally a Flat Coat/Golden cross we were intrigued by his size and rear dew claws.

That little guy already weighs 35 lbs.

But looks weirdly small still in photos.

He's not destroying much yet other than my thumbs. Mostly a gooood boy though.

Sam likes being at the cabin, long walks, fireplaces, kissing horse's noses and tailgates like a champ. Next winter he wants to learn to stand on the tails of his Dad's skis while ski touring.

He's rapidly outgrowing and getting frustrated with the enforced constraints of puppyhood.

His sit is damn solid already and he'll mostly stay at a sit until given free command to go fetch a toy and come back to a sit.
