They didn't the year my wife did it. If I remember right she said the first 5k or so was all double poling due to the quantity of people.

Cub creek was doing great last weekend. I wouldn't be shocked if the trails out of Winthrop were done by then but they could also be holding on too.

FWIW I've had was more trouble with my feet at cold temps than lungs. I do have exercise induced asthma so typically take an inhaler puff at the beginning of a ski and am fine.

This is a long shot but does anyone have a set of over boots that would work with a size 11 Salomon boot with Pilot bindings? It's looking like we are in for a cold snap!
