Yeah the high traverse had a delayed opening from slide activity. Nothing deep, just the top layer sluffing. Still a little scary getting taken out by sluff on the rollovers of sunshine/unicorn area.

Awesome surprise 7 inch day at Alpental under sunny skies. It got heavy in the sunny spots, but shaded areas out in the BC stayed real nice.

Yes! What a great day. Lots of sunshine until around 1pm, Plake was out, and everything was skiing real soft. Perfect spring-like day with practically nobody there.

It does slide fairly often. But say you believe that it is safe enough to ski on a given day. That doesn't mean that its a good idea to climb up a slide path for 30 minutes if you don't need to.

Temps look fine, but alpental got 0.5 inch of precip without the 24hr snow amount moving. Freezing rain perhaps? Sucks either way, and let's hope the higher elevations of alpental got pure snow.

oops, must not have been looking at the time column this morning. makes sense about the bigger peaks in the alpental valley bringing some extra moisture down.

Thanks for the offer. I'll keep an eye on telemetry and see which option looks more enticing, as both drives take about the same time.

Can't do anything tomorrow, but I'd like to ski something Thursday. Was thinking probably Paradise, but certainly open to ideas.
