They aren't saying that. At the window they'll sell you an ikon friend ticket (at the discounted rate). But that's the only way they'l sell you a ticket at the window.

I called them to clarify (I am headed there with family this coming weekend, and that family does not have a pass...). As you said, they're allowing ikon holders to buy their buddy pass (or whatever...
