I have 100+ days on my Atomic Backland Ultimate's (which are essentially the same boot as the Phantom Slipper). They have held up fine for me but YMMV I guess.

I have both the reg 190 DW and 189 BG tour and looks to me that the DW is about 1.5cm shorter. At 6ft/180# I couldn't imagine going any shorter with the DW, even for touring
