I just got Boissal's old 2020 Orbea Occam! I've still got some tinkering to do with the suspension setup and the bars but I'm and friggen pumped! It's a nice upgrade from a 2014 Banshee Spitfire.

Before I saw the brake pads I was real curious what a 193 dollar pump did so well.

New bottom bracket, chain, cassette and front ring for me today.

It bugs me that the bigger Knipex is not closed all the way.

Pretty reasonable. I was playing around on their website and came up with ~650 for a cheaper build and was having a hard time believing that was for 2 wheels.

I posted this elsewhere but I was "Just Riding Along" down a rocky steep pitch when all the sudden I heard a bang and my bars started wandering around as I very gingerly decelerated from 15 mph....

I broke my stem last week so used it as an excuse to get a new stem, bars and grips. Yippee.

I know people say bike weight doesnt matter but that's a lot of bike!

Well there is the justification I needed to upgrade to one of those.
