I almost exclusively ski jane/wp for that reason.

Idk why but the CAIC GFS precip graphics show exactly twice as much precip as GFS graphics from other places.

I've skied several christmases at winter park and copper including yesterday and it's always empty especially in the morning. The days after are a different story though.

His forecast doesn't look much different from other places. He is probably being conservative because people get super butthurt when it doesn't snow as much as the forecast.

You can find limited ECMWF charts around the internet. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/~fxg1/ewall.html is a good site. I know the Accuweather Pro service gives you the ECMWF out to 10 days.

That model is based off the WRF Model. I've only compared it to a few storms but it's predictions seem to be on the higher end unfortunately. Dont take model output at face value.
