Tunnel Hill I think? FS road heading north from Turnpike just below Prospector. Does that eventually hit Vasquez Rd? I just went 4-5 miles out from the WP base.

Got a good skate ski in this week between town and resort at Winter Park on FS 152. Definitely a winter for XC.

Couple weekends ago just below Eskimo. Maybe the same two as on 40. They hang out in the old WP area in the spring - seen them many times along the creek path.

I skied WP Sat afternoon and Sun midday. Not really any lines. Just need to navigate.

Skied the front ridge at WP (Retta’s etc.) for a few hours yesterday morning. 11” made a world of difference. Never waited more than 5 mins in lines. Fun day.

Berthoud slide was visible from 40 I think. Helicopter and 3-4 emergency vehicles at the summit and just over the WP side at around 2:15pm.

Rope drops on Bash and Balch at Wanker today were awesome. And no traffic home on 40 or 70 was a bonus.

No color on Independence Pass on Friday driving to Aspen but coming home today Twin Lakes side had popped. Another few days and it will be looking good I think.
