This morning in Nendaz( at tracouet) was great. Snow kept piling up and was hip deep at some places at some point. Skied the trees until the lifts closed around 2pm due to the wind.. It's still...

Is there snow all the way down into the valley? I know it's possible to ski al the way from the top of the mt fort to la Chable.. 3330m to +/- 800m.. Wasn't possible last season.

Yes... had some nice compact soft snow in Zermatt on 11th of august, Especially in the morning the conditions where really winterish. Had to watch out with going off piste though, a lot of crevasses...

Just got back from 4 days of skiing on the Kaprun glacier. Good fun. It snowed a bit the last two nights so we had nice spring snow in the morning.

Buddy of me was in Tortin(4vallees) on his mbt today. He told me he hadn't seen the glacier behind the stairway in such a good condition in a while.. Damn, I wish I was stil there.

Nope, all the connections from Siviez where closed when I arrived at Tracouet so I decided to stay at Tracouet.

Damn rain screwed everything under 2000m here in Nendaz .

Faceshots all the way here in 4vallees, i'm guessing around 40-50cm on the bowl next to Chassoure. And it was surprisingly quiet around there.

To be honest i didn't really believe the information board, it didn't feel that hot. But it was warm though. Today it was 5C according to the same information board.

I was in Nendaz today, weather was crappy as hell. At the top of the tracouet lift (2200m) the thermometer on the information board showed a whopping +16C :mad: . The connection slope to the rest of...

Some parts of the alps are now avavailible in high res on google earth. Including 4vallées(Verbier). I'm checking out possible lines right now.. :D
