It's a nice place. Not sure it's the biggest bestest place ever over here,

I can report that it is cold up here, and wet.

On Ripz' photo, obviously, the cloud was thirsty and getting a drink.

Nice pic Marius. My guess is,
if from yesterday, then that would be dust from the Sahara Desert making that yellow color.
It rained here yesterday night, and the cars were covered with silt.

Well, it's my 2nd day of Summer Vacation,
and I am happy to report snow.

While at the Zurich HB, look for the ads for Murren.
Murren was offering package deals for lodging, brekkie, tix, and guide.
The price seemed reasonable, and Murren is a real deal place to ski, ...

Tour du Romandie arrived in Leysin yesterday.

It was nice.
Was there at opening bell.
Skied fresh most of the morning.

But, it was one lift, the telecabin.
Berneuse quad had problems,
the top was closed,
Quad chair from bottom was...

Your dates seem fine.
For snow, I might arrive a week before the 25th. But it's all a guessing game.

So far, a good start for the glaciers.
Snow to 1600m this morning, meaning our hill is covered up high.

There's alot of housing in that valley, and lots of people there for the fun of the outdoors.
Somehow I imagine a space to rent will present itself, even if to defer someone else's costs.

A couple notes:
1) smell is the biggest concern in bunkers, as in you will smell like everyone else's farts;
2) snow is always nice to see when jonesing, even if it will melt.

Warning: The Verbier hostel is the most ghetto of all hostels in CH.

On snow, I saw some white stuff all over the Oldenhorn today.
