New L-117 skis totally different than the 112-RPC. L-117 is larger-radius, less darty or "hooky" feeling in 3D snow and more settled and quieter feeling than the 112-RPC. L-117 has much less rocker...

Skied a couple pairs of skis mounted with the new Strive for a bunch of runs... skied great.... pretty light, but not flimsy... Nice advancement for people who don't need a heavy-metal housing...

Absolutely.... I think an AT pin binder would be ideal on this ski instead of the alpine demo binders mounted on this demo pair.

Yep... shells can get fragile (old Tecnica plastic notorious for going brittle after a few seasons)

+1 for Stevled's call to get a baseline leveling grind on any ski before getting into tuning angle fetish sessions, we see so many skis coming out of the box or after a bunch of usage so...

Agreed... the Free Factory 130 walk mode is pretty good... you can definitely leave the strap and top cable buckle in-place...feels natural, no sloppiness...essentially you don't think about it...and...

Pretty darn similar to my 26.5 Salomons... both needed a touch of widening of the toebox for my feet... maybe a slight big-toe lengthwise punch for optimal fit... but yes... internally, the 2021-2022...

Stamp on the side of the sole says 305mm... I measured it and it's pretty much 305 mm (+- a mil) (I usually don't trust the molding stamp measurements)
