I have some used ones I'd give away for free (as in beer). Switched to Intuitions. Where you located.
I'm just going to leave this here: 336432
Hmm, clearly the renoun engineers forgot to consider their skis would be used in the cold.
Sounds like they're going to CAST their lot in to the convertible binding game
Just slight wormhole clarification. There were a few advantages to the cyclors, (in increasing importance). IIRC....
1. More aerodynamic
2. Only one cyclor was doing something other than just...
You left out his past experience. Sounds like the leader of a ripping ski company:

Not sure I agree with all that. Aren't all DPS's made in USA? Or at least the Pures, hybrids are made in China I believe.
Anyway as others said in this thread, Investors really are making a...
DPS makes a special Backcountry.com model. Two birds one boycott?
I don't think they look horrible. Ice packing might be a problem. But what can this do better/lighter/etc than a shift?
Looking for the newer model... Think it's 17-18 or newer
Bring lots of water / filter.
This actually makes sense. Pretty limited usage case to make a full run of skis
Ardent and DHF are pretty far apart on the spectrum. Which end do you want to be closer to? There are numerous DHF "clones" that roll a bit faster.
On the other end of ardent with a bit more...
IMO don't waste too much time worrying about which rim, find some around ~30mm wide internally, get some good hubs (won't go wrong with DT Swiss for 99% of people), and have them built by a good...
Answering PM's. Think the skins and cast and wailers are spoken for.
Yes. I'd rather have a bike that was 90-95% as good a ride as a yeti that I could ride on short rides without a pack. I'm just saying if they put a little ingenuity into it and came up with some...
Whether or not the bottle comes off down there it still is in the line of fire for pretty much any gunk you run over. I understand all the yeti tribe don't want them to change the frame setup. Just...
Sorry for the craigslist copypasta. Mag deals made. Prefer to be local in Seattle220963220964220965
176cm DPS Wailer 99 Pure carbon skis. These are a special dreamtime color of green from a few...
My only issue is the lack of bottle cage on this bike. Cmon yeti. Come up with something I can reach and doesn't attract mud/sh!t
Does any shops in the Seattle area these in stock to try on?
Echoing all the other comments out there. Skied a tour on the tectons (actually more on that later). Toes are much easier to get into and heel feels really solid. Was soft heavy snow to groomed...
This. The German meat shop in Leavenworth has the best.
I agree on the kickstarter bit, I'm biased because I love my RPC's but I'm going to guess this is mostly for marketing they're doing the kickstarter. A way to make a big bang this close to the start...
I have some px12's with turntable heels...

Had a Smith Forefront, head got sweaty, got a Giant Rail, love it.
The things I'll say about BOA is they seem to work ok when they are just doing one per row, when you have one BOA tightening the entire shoe they seem to be more prone to breaking and not adjusting...
All good options, one more is the specialized fuse (yes it comes 27.5+ but I run mine 29er). Pretty much same geo as honzo, but you get two water bottle mounts
Interesting, the interview mentions something about the boot/ski interface as well, doesn't look like anything new there so far.
Depending on where you are might be able to find a lightly used subzero on craigslist.
Bronson is a 650b bike.
The earlier blister podcasts were unlistenable. They've gotten better. Also the audio quality has greatly improved but not great. I get the point he's making about ski weight but it's insufferable...
5-9 and light-med weight. Especially for skinning through tightish trees 178-182 is the perfect length IMO. Any longer than that it gets to be a pain.
What are the pros/cons vs the Aggressor? I wouldn't suppose the Tom would compare well to a DHF, but I also don't see many people running Aggressors up front.
Do you have anything original to post Damian, or are you like the guy in the office who forwards insightful emails?
If they put the negative balance on your account then the scammer was already refunded.
All right, sure in that article they're using 26" except for Sam, perhaps I'm wrong judging fro the video.
First of all you're citing an article which is from earlier this year, so people may be...
Uh nope, those are 27.5 I can't tell every bike but Nico rides a scott gambler, see a few SC V10's in there. Also think I spotted some YT's
Keep trying Damian. I'm sure you'll say something...
Do you have an original thought to post or are you going to just link to other discussions?
Just to add on. Almost 10 years ago I had a somewhat similar (but less sleazy) deal happen. Guy bought road bike on ebay. Disputes via paypal because he claimed "the chain was too stretched" and I...
Holy shit, he was refunded 1200 from paypal and still claims he is out 1200 + 200 that was offered? Balls on that guy.
Yeah someone needs to contact his fiancee. At any rate, popcorn is...
The coordination where the trimmer reaches back and holds the wheel while Burling crosses is gorgeous.
The ride height controller (and the fact that the guy can do it while pedalling) probably made the most difference IMO.
Also they clearly had the cleanest/smoothest maneuvers, watch the second...
I can't remember the article but Specialized said something similar to what Enve did, that too wide causes issues, and concluded that around ~30mm internal was the sweet spot.
Citation needed.
Look. You (and the all the posters on pinkbike) might have a point of 26 being left in the dust with no support. But that's not the same argument as to whether 27.5/650b is a...

Do the standard (13 DIN bindings) have this as well or just the 14? If I remember looking at them in the shop the 13's might have a bit, but looks like the 14 AT has more range.
They do make one.

Yup. Or the products they sell. Can't find it now but they some other comparo at interbike, and surprise, the Turner was far and away the best bike they ever ridden. That and Schwalbe tires were...
