I did the adaptive steep and deep a couple of years ago. Loved it.

They put together a great video of all the groups/skiers and present it at the end of the camp.

At Mammoth Mountain when I was a just a kid.... 49 years old. 56 now. Busy catching up and playing ski bum now.

Might be a bit better than normal as I do not believe they are taking reservations this year.

Wife and I went in on a Sat night two weeks ago and there were a fair number of spots available.

Chair 5 has great mid mountain spring conditions right now. Would be great if a bit more people were skiing there. Might encourage the mountain to keep it running a while longer.

Hwy 395 is closed again from the Bottom of the grade north of Bishop.

395 from the bottom of the grade to June Lake loop has been closed NB & SB since mid morning. Plus R3 chain controls in town and Main Lodge is closed.

Light fluffy snow coming down all morning at Main Lodge today. Wind was fairly light as well.

If you are going to live in the city, Pasadena is pretty nice. Besides lots of food and shopping, it is a relatively easy escape from the LA basin if you head east on mountain roads or freeways.
