Is the High Roller 2 passe? Better cornering than AR, less resistance than DHF.

I'm one of many that has bashed them but this seems like a good application of ardent up front.

I've always been interested in the trail/mountain kings as a rear tire. Do they really fall apart by looking at sharp rocks or is this in fact an internet tough guy rumor?
