I find this to be the same with my woods 110s as well. They can certainly deliver some awesome fun in deep blower pow but they aren’t as easy and energetic as my Jeffrey 118s are.

I wound up getting a pair of G8’s myself. If they were going into anything less stiff of flat than my Bont road shoes, I would have rather gotten an out of the box or custom moldable insole.

Currex Soles have done me pretty well, variety of insoles for different applications (including bike) and 3 arch support heights.

All this bevel talk has me hopping my woods 110s got the same tune as the factory haha. I was under the impressions pretty much everything came out with a 1 / 1 base and side bevel

Skied my pair of woods 110 187s as dailies last season. They definitely feel like a pretty versatile ski, not the surfiest in deep pow, not a crazy carver, but performed well enough at the extremes...

Got a pair of lockjaw’s, haven’t used them much yet but the foam grip seems nice and the little grip hook has an indent so you can catch climbing bails like those on a CAST setup. If you like that...

Did you end up grabbing another pair of 186? Excited to get out on mine when things start getting filled in.
