Any experience with the High Cascades 100? Checks a lot of boxes on the logistics side for me (calendar, place to stay, etc..).
Long distance (50-100 mile or 12/24hr) event recommendations? Particularly out west? I did Tahoe Trail last year primarily because it was local but want to add something to my calendar to keep me...
Maybe I'm searching for a way to not die alone behind everyone on the last lap of our TGR ride BUT anyone ride the Zwift Hare and Hound where C's start then B's then A's? I found them to be a lot of...
+1. Not to mention you get 430+ HP and over 500+ lb-ft of torque.
I have similar needs/wants and overthought the new-to-me car decision. Ultimately, I replaced my 180k mile F150 ecoboost with a used, low mile 2021 F150 powerboost (hybrid) and added a shell.

Crazy idea makes for great trip report.
Perfect timing. Please send a code, need to try new sealant.
Best to you DH and the wife.
Appreciate the info in this thread. I'll be in St George March 20 - 25...plan is to ride with occasional work. First time visitor so if anyone wants/is able to connect for a ride or two PM me.
DH - Please mark my absences as excused. The high socks were not enough...so I enrolled in a training plan. Have receipts if needed.
It felt hard. I'm coming off a covid holiday and even using that excuse wasn't enough. Elastic snapped before final climb but I limped it home. Well done all!
Way to go Dee! Congrats on being almost there...
I'm out tonight - still waiting for Covid congestion to clear up. Next week for sure.
I sold my Trance Advanced when I picked up a Spur. The Spur is great and I loved the 29er Trance. Would get another.
A later start time on Thursday works better for me (I'm in PT time zone). I'm almost ready to re-join after my week with Covid.
Dang Jamal...
I'll be out for a bit. Caught a bad cold, tested negative for the big show.
I'm at 50% and shift a lot (at meet-up ride and everywhere else) - nearly entire range. Leaves the trainer as a variable in this experience or at least my experience.
Got it. Thanks for the info!
Is there a way to adjust gear ratios or gearing on zwift? Maybe i just need to get stronger but I notice some of you spinning on the climb while I'm standing w/ 60 cadence...same'ish speed.
I was solo...hence the first place! As a newbee to group rides on Zwift I realize knowing the course is really helpful and solo was a great way to learn the course.
First, first place for me in today's Dee Hubbs group ride. I'd like to thank my sponsors but don't have any.... So friggin fast I didn't even see second place or third or anyone for that matter.
Rose to Toads
Tahoe

62 miles, 8k up, 10k down. Lots of Tahoe Rim involved

It gets expensive quickly so you'll have to figure out wants/needs. That said, power is a great tool for training to improve performance. My decisions were based on adding power data to my...
I live in Reno. Agree with the advice that you'll need to drive - east or west. Auburn is not meh as referenced earlier, I hit it all winter. Lower single track around Galena is good now and maybe...
Clementine. Great trails. Ride there often when getting out of snow in Reno. Did that house come with a BBQ?
I literally spent a day calling every bike shop across western US looking for a Spur. Was very helpful to hear directly from shops that have a finger on the pulse of delivery. Found one at Salt...
Rose - all but chutes are open. Been remarkably good skiing for any time of year let alone first week of Dec.
Great content. Thanks for putting in the time to share.
