Well, that was fun to watch. Nice edit, looks like a repeat is in order.

Screaming deal, if you're into that kind of thing.
There weren't a ton of people Friday but it wasn't empty, either. The morning was really good with 3 overnight on top of the 5 the day before. It was definitely deeper in spots. It was good pow up...
You guys are doing it all wrong. Do what those before us did; go buy a Corvette.
They are a 22m ski. Not really conducive to tight bumps
Does that double as a feeding tube?
I have a couple buddies who just came back from Pulseline (actually, may still be there...not sure). It's legit by all reports and it's been some great days. Weather and snow, stability look good for...

I just checked Schweitzer and we still have a pass. $909 for a renewal but I'm sure it's just a matter of time for us to go Ikon. I'm not too excited for that since we really don't go to any of the...
Oops.....misread that. Too early without cheaters.
Jack Attack has a great buy in Gear Swap on some MPro 108 182 for anyone looking.
It's pretty heavy but I can't answer your question.
Yeah but I'm not that big and I'm old. I pretty much ski everything around 180. Coincidentally, that's what I weigh. 5'-10" for height.
MPro 108 - My new favorite ski. New snow today, heavy, variable, very wet near the bottom of Cedar Park and they just ate it all like a monster. That was a fun day with not that great of conditions....
I guess my question is, if this isn't about you personally or some hot skier chick getting dressed in the parking lot, why do you care? To each their own.
Exactly..
Looks like a Dave Smith's lot.
Cool, thanks. I'll dull em up a bit Wednesday night.
I'm taking my MPro 108's out this week for the inaugural run. I'm really excited to see how these do with the new snow we're getting starting Tuesday night! Forecast for Schweitzer is for 27-41" new...
There's a tubing hill near the lodge. Also a bunch of kid stuff around including a daycare. Check with guest services, I'm sure they can point you to something.
That works, too.
Cranbrook or Kimberly, if you don't want to drive through to Canmore. It's about a 5.5-6 hour drive so you may want just drive through.
Coincidence... :)
Gone. Thanks for your interest!
Okay, so I have some brand new Forza Pivot 15 with 95 brakes. I really want/need Gold Pivots with 115 brake. Anyone have some to trade?
185 is definitely a better length for me. I tried the 182 and felt a 186 would be about right. Apparently they listened to the their user feedback.
Creekside opens at 8:30. You won't need a ticket to ride it but, no issue with your iKon pass anyway. The other chairs start at 8:50 so you shouldn't have any problems getting in line. BUT, the early...
Also, Musical Chair is now a detachable quad. Now called Creekside Express.
FT (Flabby Tit - Mt Spokane) skied well this morning. 9" new, sun, and not a ton of people. Skied until noon then called it. Pretty skied out by then.
Yeah, I'm not proclaiming they're right by any stretch but, that's their reasoning. I do agree, though, that it is what's happening around us. I'm absolutely convinced that I'm surrounded by Covid...
In reading it, it appears there are two reasons for their decision: California and Oregon have already done this and they recognize that the new policy will reflect what the public is already...
You're stronger than me, Phatty. I just ordered the MPro 108 in a 182 with the further discount. Sometimes, you just gotta do what ya gotta do!
Thanks for the notice, ticketchecker....I think....
And then, after you heal up from that, slide the handrail.
Stallion
Highway Star? I thought the same about the Rax ski guy.

News story from the Spokesman Review regarding the details of the incident. I haven't checked IPAC site yet for the report but will post it once I get it.
...
I've demoed the 182 and thought it was short. 5'10" and 180 lbs. I thought a 186 would be about right but haven't skied the 192 .
Ya gotta appreciate Mt. Spokane's honesty in this morning's report:
"It’s time. There's a saying in the backpacking thru-hike community “embrace the suck.” It’s time to break out those extra fat...
Interesting... Schweitzer was loaded with people Saturday, too. I was blaming Alterra/iKon. Maybe it's more than that. Maybe it was because of pent-up demand since conditions have been lacking this...
It'll have about as much vertical as a dead horse, which this Idea is.
Rode well today, too. Couple of inches over the top and it was pretty soft.
IPAC only posts forecasts on Tuesday/Friday so I suspect we won't see anything new on this until at least tomorrow morning. I'm interested, too.
ETA: No update yet as of this morning.
