Beginning of the end...
I heard since the Alterra deal they turned off the spine buffing services.
how's the spine skiing folks? is it buffed out yet?
I gotta agree with not liking the dynamic zone forecasts. I tend to keep close tabs on the zones I frequent, tracking a problem throughout the season. But this year with zones changing, it was hard...
the basin is sooooo rocky, stay away!
whats the deal with SGs? "
We know some of you are as anxious about Steep Gullies as we are. Patrol is hard at work over there and we think with a little more snow we can get back to the steep...
Looks like they listened and will open it up for anyone after 12:00.
wtf is that supposed to mean? extreme weather events aren't related to the climate crisis? take a lap
idk if I'd put an OH source in my house intentially. seems like the dyson one doesn't have any bs oxidizer tech.
crazy, felt pretty damn empty even with full lots yesterday...
basin was great yesterday. really wish i was out there today, best day of the season?
but how is the spine skiing?!!
word got out on the basin this sunday. longest lines i've expierenced all year. and no wind buff on the spine. wtf

this may be the only hope i have re:global warming/climate change
from the TH to the flag gate its 1k' over 2.5 miles, so nothing worth really skiing, but beats i70 traffic. oh and don't tell anyone or it'll turn into abasin.
x3, chapman drive has been pretty fun kick and glide the last 2 days. lotsa skimo types out...
anyone got a single vipec toe?
Departure time? Sorry for the suck
guys at skimoco seem to love them, as well as the comment thread on the new vario 2.0 (link below), I have no expierence with them, so not really a useful comment.
...
adjustable pin blew itself up in one of my toes, looking to replace it. Anyone holding?
4 whole inches at breckkkkkkkkk
Some discussion in this thread, but no satisfying response imo. Can anyone recommend a replacement for the Scarpa F1 liner for the 27.5/28 shell size?

traverse from top of berthoud to WP?
I find i can log a bunch of miles at allenspark, but fair...
and no smoke compared to last year...
I think that's one of the best available as it combines the ground monitoring data, active fire locations and plume dispersion estimates from model output. Purpleair sensors are integrated into the...
Sick, notchtop?
Aye. thanks for not sniffing our butts (as two other parties decided to do...). A few weird windslab pockets in the choke made for interesting skiing. About halfway down turned to quite good...
Nailed it in the park on Saturday. but we skied a line that was protected from the wind. I don't envy the other 2 parties that had to ski after us though...

It was gtg in feb bru.
I don't think much is gtg yet, saw on the facebooks that Zorro was a mess yesterday, bitterbrush just opened... maybe in a few days?
duh, sorry that was dumb
Kinda a steep hike from last season @ $350 to renew... but I agree kinda cool they are further restricting access.
can concur, damn it was windy though
yesterday afternoon sucked. seemed like pre-covid i70 behaviour?
double rip skimo transition!

Saw this on the drive home from the Basin and remarked, hope no one got buried in that thing...
this one really makes me reflect on the spots I choose to ski on considerable days.
don't do it dude, all the beavers are buffed out
fastfred what's the beta on silver? gtg?

R2 glad that turned out OK.
VP did not suck yesterday. Abasin kinda did though.
my thoughts exactly, eldora charges way too much for their grooming frequency/quality and everywhere else is too far. I do enjoy it when we get enough snow for them to groom in town, but that hasn't...
good if you know where the rocks are ;) lines started forming on pali around 10
big weekend coming up, who's ready for some bitchin
+1 on that, really difficult to read this one...
woof. departure time?
This won't surprise many here, but shit there were a lot of questionable lines on BP yesterday. The Roll was tracked out, someone kicked off a decent slab above Rush cliffs and escaped via Lift...
generally has a pleasant experience on i70 as well yesterday. its really the mon-thurs scene that we need to bitch about these days.
What time does the traffic mid-week get really messy thru IS? I was really suprised by 2 hrs to BP yesterday and would like to avoid it...
I agree there are fire closures, but skiing is not 100% closed based on my sources...
