I can post my quick review of them. I wound up getting the new (yellow) Beast 108 in 188cm. Mounted with Hagan Core 12 Pro with freeride spacer.

Yeah, its hard to believe I am misaligning those teeth on the brake assembly every time, but I'll definitely check haha. The finicky-ness is kind of getting to the point of unreliability

That sounds like it could be what I looking for then. If they need a centered stance though they may be more similar to the 4FRNTs than the corvus. Corvus need to be driven through the tips mostly.

I bought a 5/32” dowel. Sanded the end that was going into the hole slightly to get it started then put epoxy in the hole and ponded the dowel in with a hammer. Seems to have worked pretty well

Sounds like a solid method. On the topic of epoxy, should I have orange hardmann or JB Weld. Is one better than the other for this?
