Fwiw i find the center of the ski tip to tail and then mount based off of center. I double check measurements from the tail prior to mounting. Pull the tape or use a metal meter stick from the tail....

I got you. Bases are full of summer wax. Indent hole in top sheet from edgie wedgie. Bases ground to make Bases as flat as possible. These tiny skis come out railed / Bases low. Gopro mount on tip....
