Does anyone know what hole pattern Dynafit Speedfit bindings use? Same as Radicals, or?
Thanks, but half of the download links don't work, including the one I need (C-raider). I did however find a template at Hagans website. Will check later if the holes line up.
Does anyone know...
Am I blind, or has ATK removed the mounting template downloads from their website?
Does anyone know if the AL12 toe shim fits the C-Raider 12? Or is it only for the ordinary R's and FR's? I see it has two different hole patterns.
Edit: Contacted ATK, and no, the AL12 does not...
Ah, I see! Thanks! I was just getting worried they decided to axe the BG, and I would feel pretty damn sad about that.
Pardon my ignorance, but I've been out of the loop for a little while: Is the BG gone from the lineup? They're gone from the website, at least.
I'd love a touring C&D after touring non-stop with my standard 2019 C&D's for 3 weeks in a row now. We've had the best snow in years up here lately and there is no better ski than the C&D for this,...
Agreed. I have Luxury liners in my Hoji free's, and while they fixed all the fitment issues I had with the original liners, they do require me to fully open all buckles for touring (which kind of...
Fit with the stock liners was terrible for me. Baking seemed to do nothing. Luxury liners pretty much solved all my issues, but they have noticeably less ROM now. Probably comparable to my old Hawx...
How much of a difference is there between the Luxury liners and the Pro Tours? Except for the flex zone cutout? I understand the foam is slightly denser? How much worse do they tour, with or without...
Yeah, interesting. How do you find cuff mobility, or rather cuff "resistance" with the Luxury liners compared to the stock Sidas ones?
Did you notice any difference after baking?
This is what I was worried about, because that's my experience with all other liners except Intuitions. Thing is, I have an ongoing warranty case...
Thanks. Did you bake 'em?
Edit: Says here to bake them at 110c for 10 mins in a convection oven, which is the same procedure I've always done with my Intuitions.
...
Got a pair of these home for testing, and I have to say they feel pretty good out of the box. Instep is definitely lower than in my Hawx XTD's, but I think I can live with it. I'm a little worried...
Mounted my buddy's new hand-built by Endre Hals' EVI Carbide 109 with black ATK R12's last night. 1920 grams in 182 cm, with brakes and freeride spacers. Very interesting ski. Flat underfoot with a...
Where would be the best place to be in the Alps to find good snow now? GF wants to travel for her upcoming birthday, but from what I've heard it's not been too great in general down there?
Anyone else had this happen? Pretty sure it's caused by abrasion from the instep buckle. They have probably have north of 200+ days of use, so I guess it's time to replace them. Having to replace...
Has anyone been in these and the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD and can shed some light on general differences in fit? I understand these are quite a bit wider, with a lower instep? The lower shell on one of...
I've always wanted to try 138's. I've had a saved search on Finn for years. Promised myself I wouldn't buy any new skis for a while... unless some 138's showed up. And here we are. Do you know what...
Oh my. So... will you do international shipping?
Been a bit out of the loop here. What IS that topsheet?
Kid-kapow really is the search king of TGR! :D And for the record, I cannot recommend the 50/50 build enough. The best of both worlds, truly.
For reference, my 184 50/50 BG 108 tours added 200 grams over the stock tours.
Well, he is offloading some big boy Cease & Desists. ;)
Moment killing it with the topsheets yet again. Damn the Wildcat tours look amazing this year!
Yeah, they're predictably, great. :D They feel a lot like my pre-asym standard layup 116 goats flex wise, just quite a bit lighter on my feet (1900 grams vs. 2350 grams). So, pretty much what you...
Completely understandable, it's a niche ski. Though I will say, my 18/19 C&D's are the most fun (deeper) soft snow ski I have ever been on. So slarvy, so, soo good.
A Tour C&D could be......
Does that mean the C&D is going +2 mm as well?
Lots of new topsheets available in the custom builder now. I think my personal favourite so far is the Woodsman 110/110 tour. I bet those things are going to POP on snow.
Also: No asym on the BG...
What's the reasoning behind going with +2 mm width and 182/187/192 lengths on the entire lineup?
So Woodsman 108's are now 110's?
They look incredible! Bodes well for the rest of the line-up.
Exactly this happened to me yesterday on a surprise pow day which included multiple laps. I must have stepped down on the brake in ski mode with ice stuck in between. Couldn't get the brake to latch....
The stated weight of the original Tecton is 550 grams as well, but in reality it's closer to 680 grams with brakes. Will be interesting to see actual weights of this new carbon version.
Yeah, I got some Pomoca Free Pro 2.0's for my BG 108 tours and I'm sold. Great glide, low weight and they pack down really well compared to the likes of G3 Alpinists. I also like the glue - good hold...
I have the same thing happening with XTD 130's on ATK R12's, G3 Zeds and Fritschi Tectons. I haven't had them lift the riser all the way up, but they make this annoying clicking sound. Sticky rubber...
I had my go-to shop order a set of frictionless pivot bushings directly from Atomic in Austria for my Hawx XTD's. Arrived in less than a week and costed me 10 bucks or so. Mine aren't as bad as yours...
Winter finally decided to arrive with full force up here, and at last I could take my BG 108T 50/50's out on their maiden tour in 35 cm/14 inches of fresh last night. Skis just like I thought and...
The famine is north of Trondheim. South of there should be good to great. Western Norway has been getting puked on the last few weeks. The east has the most snow in years. TBH I've stopped looking at...
I'm farther south (vis-à-vis Lofoten) where it's even worse than up there.
I didn't exaggerate when I said "worst in recorded history". I think I read least snow in 80 years or something, but that...
Yes, I expected that we'd have to pay dearly for last year, but not this much..
Worst winter in recorded history here in Northern Norway this season. Cold and ridiculously dry; we got 0,5 mm of precipitation in january. Hardly any more in december, and it's looking like february...
Bodø here. Usually really good winters a few mins drive inland. Just not this year.. I was under the impression that everything south of Dovre was good so far this season, but I guess not.
Yeah,...
Where in the country are you located? Here up north it's never been as bad as this as far as I can remember. There is no snow up high either. Completely ridiculous. I still haven't had skis on my...
So, what happened? I've been using a variant of this for a few years with good results.
What do these things weight? They look really interesting.
What an awesome topsheet!
Thank you for that. Can't wait to get out on mine. Looks like I'll have to make some sacrifices to Ullr..
Eagerly awaiting your review! Winter doesn't seem to want to come around here this year, so I haven't been able to test mine yet.
I personally think Moments are priced quite competitively here in Norway, much due to Derutes generous coupon code handouts. I mean, getting 30% off current year models is pretty nice IMO. I know...
No, this is one of their custom topsheets. Not to worry, their stock models still have goats on them. :D
