Installed my first heel coil yesterday after getting a spinner on an sth heel. Gosh that was easy, highly recommended having a tognar kit around.

Grab it with your hand and twist, if it twist easy tighten a few turns until it doesn’t twist. Look at angle and see if it’s better

1/16 is 1.5mm, that means you were off my 0.75mm to one side, which could fully have happened during the drilling part. Even using a jig will give you variation like that.

I would ski those, that is about max tho, a little further and you will start to see the threads

I use a similar method, but just use a centerhole punch to make dimples instead of drilling. Punch, take the jigga off and measure, use the center punch to recenter jigg, then drill, but still when...

I clamp the jigarex using quick clamps like in the photo below.
I also place squares made from excess skin material under the edges of the jigarex so it doesnt bob up and down like it does on some...

Almost new SVST stepped bit(maybe 3 pairs mounted with it), but I guess I’ll order another new one and see if it makes a difference next time.

The jigarex doesn’t clamp on to the ski very hard and also comes loose easily with pressure and vibration. Even with quick clamps holding the plates and jig to the ski it still moves(I always use...

If a ski has been mounted for a huge boot prior and I am now mounting for a much smaller size. All my heel piece holes are in front of the old mount. Does this significantly weaken the ski? Or should...
