i was there last week, and then again this weekend. the snow on the north faces was ok on saturday. you can still ski all the way to the road, some friends skied la voute and chiroze left on saturday...

Pretty hard snow, alot of bumps, but still enjoyable. It's still fun here whatever the conditions. Could definitely do with some snow to freshen things up though

just till march 1, then i'm going to cambodia for a couple of weeks.

i'm hoping to get out again in april tho, so i'll let you know what my plans are nearer the time

La Grave great today, but very busy. Did Trifide 1, with just one track in it, was beautiful, very very fast. Then decided the queues were too much, and called it a day after doing the Orciere, also...

la grave closed today, almost certainly tomorrow too. lots of new snow, but the wind is crazy, so who knows what it will be like when it finally opens.

la grave has been pretty good recently, we've not had the snow you guys in the north have had, but in the last three days i've skied the pan de rideau, chiroze, orcieres (twice), and la voute today....

you'll just have to take my word for it as i don't own a camera! that's pretty lame i know...

In La Grave was snowing till i went to sleep, but turned to rain sometime in the night. The lifts closed because of the avy risk. The 2nd time in 3 days.

yeah, last year i got to la grave the first day of feb and the conditions were shit, and then it started snowing and basically carried on snowing until april!

yeah, i admit the webcam doesn't look good... but i think that cam's a bit misleading. it gets really windy up there, and those rocks can be scoured bare by the wind, even when there's ok snow...
