Denver has large rv and campervan rentals. With more than one person, I find small motels are a better value than ski town hostels.

I could not have afforded 5 weeks ski lodging so RV life is a huge savings overall, especially for 2. Allows us to extend our trips.

Summit County: Dillon, CO overnight parking lots free - they alternate locations each night
Aspen: Airport Parking Lot B. $6 day and ski area shuttle buses short walk....

The Chinook is back in Virginia. 5 week ski odessey totaled 10,693 miles skiing CO, WY, MT, and BC. Added a run from Red back down to CO to see the Xgames then back to BC and MT to finish the trip....

Can't wait. Fly west to Whitefish tomorrow to hook back up with my son and the Chinook. Whitefish Thurs, Fernie Fri/Sat then see from there...
