I had that ski back in the day in a 184 and "more shovel" wasn't a thought that ever crossed my mind. You have them in your possession, right? How far back does -2-3-cm put you from true center? ...
I kinda want to hear how’d they ski -2-3-cm behind the line. [emoji897]

Same plates as the current Squire 11 demo. I think they are also called "ID" demos. This is the...

I've got a pair of pre-metal 2010 185's, mounted once for Marker Griffons that are in pretty good condition (7-8/10). Would sell flat for $100 + shipping.
This model:...
The new Strive 13 D seems to win in terms of lowest stack height, although I haven't personally skied them. Warden 13 D's ski great for me, but are taller and about the heaviest demo binding around....
High on spring slush bump stoke…low on grunts.
Nice back-flip. Didn’t see that coming.
Junior’s new 174’s arrived today. Thanks to the collective for making it happen!

This is the magic some of us love about that vintage. Definitely the most playful of the past decade. Agree that they warrant a more neutral stance compared to the newer 187 and Asym 189, as I feel...
191 Jeffrey 110 Rasta's on their way to WA. (Please no base bevel issues)
And yes, they are getting Rasta Pivots. ;)
I know...the longest of long shots since they are a 2024 favorite and nobody is discounting.
My youngest skied them in Whistler last week and they worked for him everywhere. Anyone have a lead...
Yes
There are definite similarities between BG’s and Revolts from a shape and rocker profile. At first glance, sitting side by side, the Revolt kind of looks like Volkl’s attempt at making a BG. That...
Totally agree with your take on these. I like your Wildcat/Woodsman/Traditional Volkl mashup. I kept thinking about my old 190 Bibby Pro while skiing the Revolt. Definitely some similarities but with...
Started a dedicated Revolt 114 thread here: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php/357160-Volkl-Revolt-114?p=7063898#post7063898
Added my initial impressions.
Finally got out on my 2024 Revolt 114's in some softer conditions, so I thought I would capture my initial impressions. The TL/DR is that they line up pretty well with the Blister Gear review. Also,...
The upper sections of Stevens skied really well yesterday. The 6” of new was just barely enough to cover the crust (in most spots) and wind loaded areas skied even better. Some surprisingly good...
Skiing my 184 Revolt 114’s today. Really like them so far. More to follow…
Yep. I’m on the 190 Optic 104. It feels like “more” ski than the 186 Rustler 10. Less precise on firmer snow, looser overall feel especially in the tail, and more stable/damp.
In comparison, the...
DC - I have the 191 SF110 and 186 BO118 both mounted around -2/2.5 from recommended (IIRC). The SF110 is silly fun in soft snow and handles groomers well. I find it’s not quite as damp/dead stable in...
Skied the 186 Rustler 10 yesterday on soft groomers and pow day leftovers at Whistler.
Wow. What a transformation. This new version is amazingly versatile. Much more composed on groomers with a...
Made my slender 16-yo ski his new mighty-mite MFree 108’s (172’s) today for the first time in the 21-cm deposited last night at Blackcomb. Needless to say, he’s stoked on them.
Something tells me you are going to wait a long time waiting for that exact length. I’d recommend holding out for the 192…[emoji6]
Minty 2017’s skied one day. What are the chances?
Someone snag these.
Looks tasty!
Ripped groomers today at Stevens. Coverage is still very good but even the limited sun that broke through the clouds started to beat up the snow. Started getting a little sloppy...
Brakes or no brakes? The binding labeling suggests no brakes.
Skis are on the slowest truck ever from Canada. They arrive tomorrow.
Don’t believe the 15’s were ever made in the kiwi color scheme. P18’s only for Kiwi’s with metal toes.

Agree with bossass. You could go 178 or 186. I’m 5’ 8” and 200-lbs on the 186. It handles my weight fine and is crazy playful while not folding. Great all around soft snow ski.

One thing you have to accept when ordering from Corbett’s is nothing will be quick. In all the years from ordering from them, only one order got messed up and the item ended up being out of stock....
Sure look like STH2’s to me…but I’ll let the angry cat guy have them since I like his Seinfeld reference. Serenity Now!

He’s a man possessed. First he wanted all the 191 Billy Goats and now he wants all the Moment Commanders. Will his thirst for indie brand big boy sticks ever be satiated? [emoji6]

BUMP.
These are back on the market. Got my son some Billy Goats and he never even skied these.
$150 + shipping or arrange pickup north of Seattle/south Snohomish county area.
I’d recommend going a smidge forward versus behind the line. They seem to be happy that way.
Mount the 192's. They'll change your life as a WB soft snow ski.
I see a few pairs with demo bindings...when's demo day? ;)
Glad they lived up to the hype. ;)
I recommend taking a gummy with you and doing some passes along the rockered sections of the ski, especially the tail. That took just enough "bite" out of the...
Another vote for the 172 MFree 108. Skis like a skinny BG with a bit more "pop".
Found a cheap pair of 184 Revolt 114's and need to get them out in some spring corn or hot pow for science. ;)
Saw those today, too. Why these designs aren't the normal models or available as unique graphics for a given length (e.g. BO118) is beyond me.
Thanks for the response and reference point! I'm certain your wife has more experience and probably better form, but their styles seem similar. He has no problem making turns on his BO96's, but...
Kicking around the idea of getting an Enforcer 104 for my 5' 6", 120-lb. teenager. Thinking 172-cm. He's currently on the 168 Blade Optic 96 and has mentioned wanting "more ski".
Thoughts on...
That’s fair. I haven’t skied them yet and every pair offered here gets sniped quickly, so still waiting to try them out. The low stack height is attractive. They are still about 400-grams more per...
Demos are a compromise. I’ve used them extensively over the past few seasons to share gear with my son and buddies. On heavier skis, the difference between normal and demo bindings tends to be less...
