    They would need to have a very similar fit primarily around the ankle and instep to have a good fit in both boots without heating/adding/subtracting cork when switching boots.

    If you play around with where you're applying pressure in a turn, you should be able to get them to pivot and release quite easily in soft snow. I find them to be a dream in tight trees.
