Can confirm Alpine was amazing and not that crowded for how great the conditions were. Ended the day with sunset at Rubicon which did not disappoint. Best run I skied all weekend.

Was at the alpine side when it opened and can confirm that the 80+ inches were skiing like 8 inches of cream. Went to OV side in the afternoon and found softer/deeper snow between Red Dog and Resort...

As expected Palisades threw in the towel again for today. No power in Alpine Meadows Valley since last night and the house is shaking in the wind gusts.
