If you need the update, ask a buddy if theirs is updated first. The newer barryvox models will let you update from someone else's beacon using near field tech. I've done a few off of mine

I've got a wide last (102) high instep foot. I've had several boots, and without fail my feet go numb. The wide last can be dealt with by heating and widening then midfoot. But moulding won't help...
