BV skied really easy today, spackel last night filled the tracks and then pow on top made it pretty. Snowing hard this afternoon and temps are dropping

Good call mike! Low snow levels = Caltrans is spread pretty thin. Plus Ski Week means the roads are busy

West ridge was good early. Really good.

Griz was just about as good as it gets today. BV reported 6” early but was more like 10” by 9 am, skiing great and continuing to fill in. Frontside/backside/spy glass were all open early then lower...

Beta was for a possible afternoon opening today, more likely Sunday. Towers needed some work for damage from last storm. You’ll want that rope drop, I predict 10:30 sunday

Fun day at Bear Valley! Snow was about 2 to 2 1/2 ft and right side up so skied great. Never hit anything under the snow which I was surprised about.

Figured the bottom was too spicy, and with no snow in the next few weeks it’s gonna be a bit of a wait, yeah? Or is it a staffing issue?

We have been blessed with great snow days early in Dec for 2 years straight! Sunday was blissful skiing. I wore myself all the way out though, gonna need a few more reps before I can go bell to bell....

C’mon GiBo, it’s Bear Valley. They never get the mountain running full steam until the first team weekend usually
