If you are going to the xmax - chances are you can go down a size from your old boots, due to fit. I dropped a size from my old sally's to the xmax. Fit is great and comfy too from the start.

Using the MC for a bit of roadtrip, lateFeb/March - UT, JH, SV - 9 days, hitting the Ghee too, Bridger and LT, and BCC Fun times :biggrin:

If you want scenery the Dolomites are hard to beat, thinking Selva and villages around. The ski area is big with plenty of nearby places too. Food is good and beers cheaper etc.

Stayed At Bucks earlier this year and it was pretty good value. Decent breakfast which always helps, free shuttle to Big Sky if you don't want the drive. Restaurant as mentioned decent, often need to...

I'd give us 60k years at the most, when the next major iceage kicks in.

It would be ok for a while with some great skiing, but eventually the novelty would wear off and folks would die of boredom....
