Zihuatenejo was a sweet little town when I was there years back.

Ixtapa is the big gross that you know it to be,
Troncones is gringoland but nice,
Saladita is a few buildings and a longboard...

Saladita is consistent and mellow. Surfable waves pretty much for sure in the summer. Way less juice than Malibu, fwiw. Great place to learn, beyond that it is a mild longboard wave that I was...
