    ^^ damn. Took us 5 hours from Oberösterreich to IBK (normally 3.5-4), but we were lucky with timing, leaving at 5pm (tree had falken on the autobahn but was already cleared by the time we got to it).

    I would look at somewhere like Schruns...

    I would look at somewhere like Schruns (Montafon). Gets a lot of snow, doesn't need much snow to ski well, has plenty of great skiing above and below the treeline, and definitely has Christmassy...
