According to Caltrans site, looks like it might be open. BP area didn't get nearly as much snow from this storm as Bear.

It's not, Caltrans guy said they don't know when, it's plowed but rockfall still coming down and will be for awhile.

Really awesome corn day at Baldy yesterday, just great. Telegraph is melting pretty fast, but the sub-peak to the south is holding well.

Little bit of everything today; HUGE drifts, trees blown over into runs, 4" of thin sweet pow over 3' of super dense snow, wind-stripped rock, and sections of sketchy boilerplate. Skier's left fence...

Snow line is hovering about 7,800 feet, keep your fingers crossed that it holds and then drops around 4pm.

A few degrees either way will make or break it with regard to Baldy, it's going to be close.

The crust was firm enough to not break through? Hike up from bottom or take the Backbone?
