I have a question on an issue that might not necessarily be specific to zipfit but thought I'd get input here. I get shin bang on my left shin but Zero on my right. My right has good even pressure...
I wonder if the new 185 cm mfree 108 would fix that twitchy feeling.
How would you compare the looseness of the sf110 to the mfree? I found it so easy to ski the mfree so hoping the sf110 isn't...
I'm wondering how the 112 would compare here. It seems like it'll be looser but the descriptions in reading is that it's even more aggressive and heavier, which I'm not too sure I want.
So you had a chance to try the new mfree 108 in the 185 length... What didn't you like about it?
Salomon stance 90 176 cm
Black Crows Atris 105 184 cm
Icelantic Saba Pro 117 187 cm
I'm effectively looking to sell them all and just go with two skis. One for all mountain east coast and the...
Thanks for thorough response.
By squirrelly I mean when you ski then on groomers or cat tracks flat and not on edge they could move sideways without wanting them to. One poster mentioned it...
Need some help deciding. I've been scouring reviews and forums but everyone's needs are different. Looking for your thoughts on these three skis in the newer models. I currently have a 3 ski quiver...

This is a helpful visualization. Thanks! It looks like the toe has no conflicts and i would just need to move the heel track back (or forward) a bit and then adjust the heel on the track accordingly....
OK that sounds promising. So is that confirmation that I can swap these bindings and maintain the same mount point? Just looking for reassurance because I brought the skis to two places now and were...
Hi all,
I currently have the Shift binding on my skis but I've had a few of the notorious pre-releases which has me thinking of switching to the Duke PT since i mostly do resort with them. Anyone...
For those that are Blister members, they did a brief review on the Saba Pro 117 that sounded pretty positive. I'm hoping they do a deep dive to get details around it.
Did you find the Factions pivot super easy in tight spaces? For example, I've tested the QST Blank and MFREE 108 which I found pivot super easy and is something I'm looking for in my next pair.

Thanks for the input. What do you think the Inthayne gives you that the others (specifically Saba) doesn't? I hear Inthayne isn't really loose/surfy relatively speaking.
Your suggestion for the...
I'll also replace Devastator with Renegade since that's what I meant. More in line with the list.
Here's a list that would be good comparing it to if anyone has experience:
-Black Crows Nocta (reverse camber version)
-4frnt Inthayne
-4frnt Devastator
-Moment Meridian 117
-Moment Chiptle...
Anymore details on how it performed on different snow or skis you could compare and contrast it to? It's good to know it wasn't too squirrelly or unstable given it's full rocker. I expect it to be...
Picked up this ski on impulse but I haven't been able to find many reviews or discussions on it. Looking to see if anyone here has any first hand experience and what their thoughts are in comparison...
I haven't but I just did and doesn't look like they have what I'm looking for. Thanks for the recommendation though.
Hey all, wondering if anyone knows where I can buy parts for my atomic shift 13? I emailed atomic but they said for safety reasons I have to go through my local shop. My local shop says I have to go...
I've been taking a look at Snowbird accommodations but there doesn't seem to be much at all on AirBNB or Vrbo. Anyone have suggestions on where to book? Snowbird's website only option?
Ah OK. I haven't figured out exact dates but I'm guessing February, maybe early March.
So far it seems like Copper is my choice in Colorado and snowbird in Utah on the base pass. I actually plan to book my trip Monday to Friday to avoid weekend chaos.
So are all the restaurants I see on their site just in the buildings at the base? Not really any "village" to walk through?
On the Colorado side Copper was up on my list as it seemed to tick all my boxes for the most part, like you said. It'll be on my short. Any thoughts on Winter Park? I see it get mentioned once in a...
The Snowbird website shows a number of restaurant options but the map doesn't really seem to show a village at all.. I assume these are just restaurants in the hotels and on hill? Is there anything...
I'm starting to realize your last point. You see a huge list of resorts and figure one of them would be a clear winner. I was hoping I could find something on the base without have to spend more to...
I've been to Jackson before and I liked it. Hoping to try something new but worst case I can always go back.
Thanks for the contact. I'll reach out to him.
I appreciate the honest answer. I was getting the same sense about the terrain not too challenging as well. How is snowbird with respect to restaurants and shops? I figure SLC isn't too far and...
This is for next season. It's early but I'm trying to plan a few trips so getting a head start so I can start eyeballing accommodations and flights.
How does steamboat compare to snowbird?
Great suggestion. We've actually been there already and loved it. I had to update my posting to indicate a US destination. We only have 4-5 days for the trip.
I'll be booking a trip with the wife and I to a US mountain from the Ikon Base skis pass but having trouble narrowing it down. For those with experience, what do you recommend for great snow/terrain...
What was your mount point? Recommended is -9 but many seem to suggest -6.
Thanks for the input. I've come across the suggestion to mount +3 a few times now. Why is that the case? Does it make the ski much easier to pivot but can still drive the tips? Would I feel the tail...
I got the 186 length. I'm 5'11" 180lbs so it seemed like the proper size. My Atris are 184cm and I have no issues with that length.
hey all, I score a killer deal on a pair of Nomad 115s. It looks like something I'll like but thought I'd run a few questions by everyone who's had a chance to ski them.
How loose and surfy are...
Good points. Im generally of similar thought about blending in which is why some times I gotta think about impulse buys. Needed that voice of reason. I guess I could grab the more subtle combo for...
Yeah I definitely wasn't looking to win a popularity contest with this thread but I did get some others providing helpful input. This one here sounds like a Karen that goes out of her way to write a...
Thanks for the input. I would've thought the other way around. I'm definitely not looking for anything trendy as I'm hoping to keep this for a long time.
To avoid confusion, im just looking for your thoughts on either left or right.
Some good thoughts so far about visibility.
Thanks. Yeah those are the ones I'm mostly torn about. Trying to figure out left or right.
Feel free to remove if it's against the rules. I just didn't know where it should go.
Probably the most breathable option.
This would've been too easy. I impulse bought both sets at same price on discount and now deciding what to keep so I can return the other. Not often I have these first world problems.
To add some clarity I'll number the items:
1. Top left, red jacket
2. Top right, black purple jacket
3. Bottom left, dark blue pants
4. Bottom right, yellow/brown pants
Boots and pools are black. Skis right now are the older woodsman 108 so some darker color topsheet and green base.
That's an interesting way to look at it... Makes me want to lean to the right, no offence to the French.
Hey all, didn't want to bring it to this point but I just can't seem to decide which color combo to go with so looking to get some of your votes. Have a look at the picture and let me know what you...
