When home field advantage means a beach full of schoolkids chanting your name...
Stellar as ever. Thanks.
Always a treat. Thanks.
The Tenth of December by George Saunders was a recent highlight.
Pricing, pricing, pricing. The econ really is that simple. Yes, ag will take it...big time. So what? Are we really going to defend the model that's killing the West?
In other news, these guys are...
Remarkable story, thanks for sharing. Stoked for you and your family.
I have a month or so of midweek freedom, and would love to do some IP/RMNP touring with someone who might know the area better than I, specifically in the Gilpin zones. PM me if in need of a partner.
All day. No one on it. They got Marmot/Rock Chutes open by 1 or so.
I snapped a few myself. Damned impressive.

Monarch or WC tomorrow? I might be tempted to drive from Superior if the storm behaves. Anyone similarly inclined?
In my limited experience, extricating the two is nearly impossible. Hips may not have been the cause, but if ITB issues exist, the hips are necessarily part of the rehab/recovery equation.
RTJ @ the Gothic the 18th. Interested?
4 days out and feeling great. Osteoplasty of femur+cup, new labrum by way of a cadaver's IT band, and a psoas release just for kicks. Best part: no microfracture!
Shocked at how good things felt the...
Stellar. Get any riding in?
Color me jealous. That was great. Thanks.
^^^nice. Made 9 news, too:biggrin:. Kathy Sabine was ogling that right before the Olympics came on. Mirkwood open?
^^^my doc is pushing for microfracture as well. He also wants to replace my labrum with a cadaver's IT band. Shit. Shaving of both cam and pincer as well.
Really struggling to make a decision,...
Brett Michaels w/o makeup?
Can't figure out if they're gonna pull it off yet. The role reversal is kind of refreshing, but I'm simple like that.
Same here. Have you tried Red Bull's site?
Radwanska played some of the nastiest tennis I've ever seen tonight.
Terrible news. Vibes to George's family and the Fraser community.

Huh...summer of 2014? ...remainder of the winter? Can't really recall a forecast quite like this one. Hope it pans out.
^^^Bumping this as well. My FAI is due to acetabular retroversion, and thus far PT, ART, etc. have been marginally effective. Curious to hear how others have fared.
^^^The north shore might be a bit easier to navigate than you'd expect, though there's not much swell on the horizon after today. Bodysurfing shorey might be your best bet if it's 1-2 ft. Waimea,...
Trout? Pan fry>deep fry.
Powerline is rarely rideable, but it is possible. Or at least legal. Your best bet for trail riding is the Waimea area, specifically Waimea Heights.
Road Riding? Folks do it, but I wouldn't. Lot's...
How much snow & how high? There's a fair amount to keep you busy above Orem via Shoreline/Foothills trails and the web of fun they access. Aspen Grove + Timp is great, but I also really enjoy the...
Well there you have it.
After a tough week I was double-stoked to find some Alesmith at my local shop (a first as far as I can recall). Nice and fruity for a second or two, and then...funky. Bummer. Down the drain it goes....
Derek has been pretty good so far.
Last night was crazy. Sorry to hear, WTF. Let me know if I can help in any way.

^^^I think Hazel's had the Gotterdammersomething or other last time I was there. Had the La Cumbre in NM. Fairly sure their distribution is nil, though I might have one kicking around the fridge if...
La Cumbre's Elevated has me more excited about a beer than I have been in a long time. For a single IPA, this one sports an incredibly juicy, citrus-forward hop flavor. It's got a nice, mellow nose,...
Luke Mossman is the man you seek.
Thanks for the info everyone. Should be a nice little trip.
Your weekends>my weekends!
^^^Great, thanks. We were hoping to do a Crest + Rainbow tour, finishing @ camp somewhere on Hayden Creek, but I'm thinking that might render us worthless for the rest of the trip. My understanding...
Bump for camping recs. Looking like Coaldale on Hayden Creek is our best bet. Other options?
Too bad. I've enjoyed the last few iterations.
Stapes - I'd agree that the April product was the best "Enjoy By" so far, though I've yet to find one on tap. I thought the Ruinten (on tap) was...

Check the discussion over in Gimp Central. Kingdom-tele, jma233, and others have had some great advice, links, etc. Good luck.
Bumping an oldie here. How have the Boschs held up? Kitchenaids?
LG and Samsung seem to offer popular mid-range options. Thoughts? A fair number of reviews complain about lousy drying, any...
Pretty wild, eh Peg? Haven't seen anything like that in a while. This was about the best I could do this morning, though the numbers don't really do the storm justice:

Holy Fucking Hail.
That was incredible.
My garden is toast.
Gotta say, first listen? Meh - aggressive, but lacking the impact of the last few efforts. Next few listens? Pretty pumped on it. Progressive beats + production, unique, hyper-confident flow and...
Not usually wild about gin, but last time I was down your way a buddy had a bottle of the Hacienda. I thought it was great. Potato, no? Kinda different, I guess. He did it w/ Jalapeno, cucumber,...
Stellar shots. Glad to hear you had a great time.
