I ended up just skiing chair 1 all afternoon yesterday. I still haven’t skied the elusive #6 Headwall.

Thinking about heading up for an afternoon solo mission, once I get this basement workshop cleaned up and organized. Would be nice to ski with people... Red jacket, orange pants, Black Crows Atris....

It's short, featureless in the frequent windy/snowy conditions, but occasionally has really good snow and a few decent turns.

Apparently completely visible right as you get off Chair 6. Which is probably why I've never seen it... once terrain starts opening up I don't ride Chair 6. And this probably isn't open until terrain...

You know... just this season I learned there's a #6 Headwall. I've never seen it, never skied it, but apparently it exists. A friend sent me a picture of the sign for the hike to it.

Seems like there's a few stickers that could get some traction. Bootlick the Ridge, Free the Steeps, It Might Be Cold But At Least It's Windy, and this little saucy number I wanted to get printed up...

Windy today, but at least it was cold and none of the lifts (except 2) turned.

Since the steeps only ever ski awesome the very first day they're open and A-bowl and Zoom opened a day or so ago, this checks out.

Yesterday (Sunday) was real nice, like skiing in a snow globe made out of a milk jug. About a foot of light snow on top of the heavier stuff skied great. Got a few low-viz laps off 9, snow good...

How'd LL ski yesterday? Report from another friend was that it was cold, but at least it was windy. Didn't really say how snow conditions were.
