If you want tech fittings, just Get Atomic Hawx Prime XTD 130s. They'll fit very similar to your Hawx 2.0s. Mold the shells with the standard method and they'll be golden.

PETG won't hold up well outdoors. PC might be a little brittle, I'd probably go ABS

Heel should move back a mm or two when putting the boot down, before applying any real pressure. If you wiggle the dildo fore-aft, the boot heel shouldn’t move up or down really at all. Easy

Enduro/veneer is my preferred resort setup for powder oriented skis. And heavy hitter/Carbon/veneer for narrower skis or skis meant for variable and to be crud busters.
