Poke around off Monarch Pass today. Snowpack is still pretty reactive, but the turns were much softer and less wind affected than expected.

Skied a foot of tepid pow at Monarch this morning. The 3" we got down in town is melting fast, trails should be hero dirt by tomorrow unless we get more snow.

On it, champion... I leave on Sunday for a week of mountain biking in Oaxaca. You're welcome if it happens to bring more snow.

Killer day at Monarch, reported 14" in the last 24 with 8" overnight and a bunch of aspects were skiing much deeper.

Monarch skied really well yesterday, so long as one managed their aspects. Conditions were either ankle-to-boottop whipped cream cheese or bulletproof wind-flattened corduroy that skied like it was...

Nothing stuck in town, but the 5" overnight skied a bit deeper and quite light up at the hill. Monarch is filling in nicely.
